A message from the owner
Happy New Year 2008!
Hello, this is Akiko Iwasa, owner of Peace.
It saddens me to announce that I have decided to hand over the ownership of Peace at the end of this year so that I can focus on raising my child in Tokyo. For this reason, Peace's last day of busineess was December 29th, 2007. I thank everyone for their support and guidance throughout these five and a half years, and am proud to have been able to spread the ideals of vegetarianism during this period.
The current staff of Peace have also decided to go their own way, and we wish them luck on their new journey. Although I will be busy with my child, I plan to continue spreading the ideals of vegetarianism in Tokyo and Kyoto, using Peace's current web page for these activities going forward.
I also plan to continue to organize the Vegetarian Festival, and hope this will give me an opportunity to see everyone for years to come. In advertising the festival, we plan to use our current mailing list. If you wish to be added to our list, please contact us at cafepeace@hotmail.com.
